Cigar smoker, rate these cubans.

Cigar smoker, hope you are and not just a handle. I have just been given a selection of some nice cuban cigars, but don't know much about them. Can you supply some info?

Made by Habanos s.a. and they are Pyramids, 1 of each: a Cohiba, Montechristo, Romeo y Julieta, Partagas and a Hoyo de Monterrey.

Came in a very nice little box.

I've never heard that description given to a cigar.
I liked the Montecristo myself while enjoying a fine brandy.
The brandy was delicious however.
Here's a site that will give you the characteristics of these exceptional tobacco products as well as others opinions on them.

Are you aware that the penalty here in the United States for breaking the embargo on having Cuban cigars is a fine of $65,000.

The Cohiba and Romeo y Julieta are the most sensual cigars by far, that I've smoke. The Montechristo is also a most excellent smoke.

Habanos google linky:

Actually I am now! I stopped by local cigar shop and was talking with the owner there. Fines up to $250,000 and lots of years in jail.

What you may or might have are Cuban Seed Cigars?; No! problem with them: grown in other countries with the Cuban Seed.
Just a side note! 2007 was a great year for wine in the U.S. some say in 60 yrs. if you can get any of it; hold on to it.
It is GOOD to see some MEN that can enjoy life.

No, Habanos is in Cuba and only use Cuban grown tobacco.
I get mine in Mexico when I go down there.
Do get a little nervous when they bring that dope sniffing dog around when your standing in line to get back across the border.
I guess they'll just confiscate them and enjoy my cigars later at home.
