Roxio 8 removal makes XP unbootable
Hello all,
I'm running XP Professional and recently wanted to upgrade to Roxio Easy Media Creator 10, but first wanted to uninstall version 8 that I have installed. I did uninstall version 8 by going to add/remove programs, then using the remove button at the listing Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 Suite. During the reboot process it loads the XP splash screen for just a second and then reboots and is a continuous cycle over and over again. I tried loading the setup again via the setup CD, but the installer says that it is already loaded and I must uninstall via Add/Remove Programs. Does anyone have any idea why this is? I'd love to get this computer back working again with Roxio 8 completely gone, and Roxio 10 installed.
