Windows 7 Ultimate on Dell Optiplex 760
No one knows the password for the computer. As stated it has windows 7 ultimate. The screen is black and says
Type the system password and press < enter > Password: If it is not correct it says: ** Incorrect password. ** Number of unsuccessful password attempts: 7 or more System halted! Must power down. Is there anyway to fix this problem? I am not new to computers, but there is much I do not know. I listen well. I would appreciate any input please.

Welcome to CTH
Unfortunately we cannot advise as we don't know if you own the computer or it is someone trying to hack into one. It is probably yours and you probably forgot the password, but we cannot advise. If you do a goggle search for Windows 7 lost password you will find some free software out there that can help find it.
