Windows Update

Hello and Merry Christmas!

Windows Update will not allow installs. I get several error codes, all of which I have followed the instructions on how to resolve but they never resolve. I'm at a loss.

I've run a check for malware, etc and it's clean.

Any help is much appreciated!

Hello

Did you try an MS Fixit yet? If not, click here and download and run the Fixit. Follow all prompts.

We put a Systems Mechanic on and it won't run... Unknown Errors. Called their service department and they noticed lots of bad drivers. They wanted $200 to fix it remotely though!! Perhaps this is my problem but I can't afford that. Maybe that's not even the problem??? My wits are crying out loud!!

Suggestions??

It sounds like somebody at Systems Mechanic is trying to scam you, don't fall for that.

Tulip
Where did you find a phone number for Systems Mechanic or was it System Mechanic?
Where did you get the Systems Mechanic software from that you said you put on the computer?

To make sure everybody knows what you have tried so far, have you tried all 12 methods on this Microsoft support page?

Systems Mechanic has refunded our money for the download that would not work ;-)

I have not tried all 12 of those methods - but I will... thank you very much. Will post back!
