How Do I Make The "Send To" Command Cut and Paste Instead of Copy and Paste?

Hi Gang,

Every time I use the Send To command it leaves the original, which I have to delete. How can I eliminate this step?

How do I make it "cut and paste" instead of "copy and paste"?

Hi Brainscan701. Microsoft had a Power Toy called Send-To-X that used to provide you with the option to move the file instead of copying it but I'll be darned if I can find it. The link has gone.

While I was looking for it, I found Send To Toys 2.5 by Gabriele Ponti. See here. It appears to offer the same function. At your own risk though (set a restore point before using) as I havent personally tried this software.

You can do it with a reg hack. Well, it's not exactly what you asked, but close enough.

I found a few download spots for Send-To-X, but from what I can learn about it, it was for Windows 95, did work in XP, but it doesn't look like it added the ability to move instead of copy
