how to boot start into linux without password(quest from my sir);
hi sir,
My sir had given a problem to our classmates,that how should we log in to our system with out root password,he had also given hint that we should go through the grub loader and init like something...but everybody left it what had given by sir but i am not able to digest the problem... so i want it how we start our computer with out root permissions,he had also given one system for us with his protected password and told that we should enter into the system with out any root passwords(i mean by not gueesing his password and entering) please help me out from this i waiting for u reply... bye kishan... my linux OS is redhat 9 or fedore.. Enter single user mode by typing 'linux single' at the boot prompt. then use the 'passwd root' command to change the password. |
