Vista keeps booting into startup repair
Hi,
I am running Vista Home Edition and am having problems booting. When I start my computer it just keeps booting into windows startup repair. I have tried booting into last known good configuration and safe mode but had no luck there either. There has been a program installed on it called personal anti virus and this has kept warning me about a virus on my system, i am certain this program is bad news in itself. Any help much appreciated! |

Hi Azza_G and welcome. Have you tried running a Repair? If not, do so. If you have, when Startup Repair starts to search for problems, click on Cancel. Do you see System Recovery Options now? If so, click on System Restore and restore to date when your computer was running well.
