Question network sign in screen

Hi there and hope someone can help me,

A friend installed a network card in my computer and networked it with his laptop now he has finished what he was doing and remover the network card I still get a sign in screen come up instead of booting straight to my desktop. I just ok this screen without putting in a password and it continues to boot, How can I remove this log in screen and put it back as it was, I dont have user accounts set up, i am using windows xp

thanks in advance

Disable XP Logon

Click Start, Control Panel, User accounts. Click the Advanced tab. In the Secure Logon section, select or clear the Users require Ctl-Alt-Delete check box depending on how you want it.

You may also have to disjoin the computer from a domain or workgroup depending on how they did things.
