Windows XP Problem solving for the Windows XP Operating System

Windows media player does not work with video card

The video card on my dell computer went bad, so I got a new one and installed it. Now when I try to watch movies, windows media player opens up, and i get an error box that says 'windows media player does not support the video card'

Whats going on
