Autorun.exe won't run for new PC game

Have a Dell Inspiron, Win 7, 2.1 GHz. Not sure if this is hardware, driver, or software glitch. New PC game will not load. The DVD rom takes forever to read the disc and the autorun.exe program will not execute. Says Not Responding. Dell support has had us run through everything, BIOS updates and driver updates. Not sure what to do now.

What is the Game? It might have compatibility issues. Have yo tried running it as administrator/with compatibility settings?
