Updates and Passwords

I am about to format my hard drive, so

1) Is there a way I can download EVERY single update for Windows XP home ahead of time so i dont have to download when it comes time to reinstall?
2) when i export hte cookies section from MSIE, does that include my saved passwords, or is it not possible to export those as well?

question 1. No when you reinstall you really should do all your updates clean.
question 2. You want to export or save your .pwl list.

1) i want to do them clean, but what im asking is, can i download and not install them, but save them to disk. that way, when windows is reinstalled, i can just double click to run the updates without having to wait for them to download
2) where is that? i am using MSIE

Sorry about that, there is no .pwl list in XP try doing a goolge for "internet explorer password"
