Loading help (2 topics - Game and IE)

hmm it seem whenever I go to play a game that loads something at the start.. ie. Warcraft 3 and CSS... it WIERD. Warcraft 3 the screen goes black and my mouse is just the loading thing, not both.. my computer just stops loading in the back. I did a check to see if everything stops and even my music shuts off. I cant ctrl+alt+delete, all I can do is reset. and I even waited an houir and it didnt work
for CSS it goes to the first loading screen and says loading in the bottom right corner and just stays there.... grrrrrr

it may have something to do with my Direct Draw.. and Possibly Direct3D.. I just ran a test for DirectDraw and it froze my computer. along with direct 3d.. grrrrr what can I do to fix it? re-intsall it or something??


and my internet explorer doesnt work.. I have to access the internet through a folder.. oddddddd

Have you scanned for virus/trojan/spyware?
What's running in the background?

Does the CD stop spinning up when you try to load the games?
Original CDs or "backups"?
What DirectX version?
What VideoCard?
Have you updated your Video Drivers lately?
