Processor Upgrade

I am wondering whats the fasted processor I am able to upgrade to on this motherboard. If I am stuck to only to Dual Core, or can I go Quad Core. Because I do not want to buy a processor that wont be able to get its full potential because of my motherboard. Thank you all.

The specs sheet tells you exactly what it will hold as far as processors and core.

I am a little rusty on PCI Express .... How would I compare that to a video card ... could you possibly give me some examples, thank you. Sorry I am being a pain.

A PCI-E is the type of connection/slot the vid card uses,, like PCI or AGP.

PCI Express x16.. A card that meets that standard.

Ahhh okay, now would you say that card is better then the Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT?

The link I provided was simply to give you an example of what you would need for a PCI-E vid card.

I guess my question was is the best video card for my motherboard/processor I am able to use, since I do not have the money to get a new motherboard, I guess I wanna know the best video card I could get, thanks.

Your best bet then would be to shop around and look for a vid card that meets the specs and your budget. As your mobo uses Nvidia SLI technology, the Nvidia cards would seem to ba a good match.
