how do i play m3u vids?

i have some which i d/l, but they won't play. i have xp home. thanks, boyd.

You will need a codec to play them.

It has most codecs bulit in and if it doesnt they are easy to add.
Unlike mediaplayer which gives you a battle every time you try and make it play a song it doent like.

M3U is a playlist file, usually used by Winamp. It is nothing more than a text file with the locations of the audio/video files in the playlist. It does not contain any actual audio or video data itself.

ooo didnt realise.
Thought it was one of the growing video extention I hadnt hurd of.
boydphoto try downloading winamp and playing it in that.
