I'm a little bit nervous about the next 4 years under President Harris, but I guess we'll see how it goes. American politics has always been....interesting.

(Sorry to hear about your health, Jaytee)

I hoped Trump would be a good president and I think I fairly evaluated what he did during his time in office.
I hope Biden will be a good president and I intend to fairly evaluate what he does while in office.
I always hope the name calling and insults will disappear from both sides but what I expect is that "Orange Man Bad" will change to "Old Man Senile" and division fostered by rude rhetoric will live on.

Dude you are talking rubbish, postal votes are legitimate votes and occur in many countries and are governed by impartial officials who follow the laws of the land as determined by the constitution and relevant act of that countries parliament.

If you believe what you wrote, you have been duped by the rantings of the politician who is misleading the people and you are a bigger fool than I thought.

There's actually an amount of voter fraud that occurs each election cycle here in the USA, but not enough to sway the election results one way or the other. Whether you liked the results or not, this election was pretty legit.

An appropriate song Jaytee, thanks.

The local paper here had a story in a similar vein which starts:-
Quote:
Trump, the deluded diva still demanding his close-up

Many see a wannabe despot barricaded in the bunker, stubby fingers clinging to the levers of power as words that mean nothing to him democracy, electoral integrity, peaceful transition, constitutionality swirl above.
One presidential historian sees something different in Donald Trump's swansong. Michael Beschloss has been tweeting pictures of Hollywood's most famous divas, shut-ins and head cases.
Norma Desmond watching movies of herself, hour after hour, shrouded in her mansion on Sunset Boulevard as "the dream she had clung to so desperately enfolded her". Howard Hughes, descending into germaphobia, madness and seclusion. Greta Garbo, sequestered behind her hat and sunglasses. Charles Foster Kane, missing the roar of the crowd as he spirals at Xanadu, his dilapidated pleasure palace.
