Black/White screen on laptop
Hi guys dont know if anyone can help with this puzzle i have an advent 7116 laptop.
I am having problems with the booting up of this machine,when i put in the hard drive and try to start it up you can feel/hear the hard drive reading but nothing appears on the screen so i thought it may be a video card problem,so i removed the video card and tried to start up the laptop and the screen was white,doe anyone have any idea what this could be.thankyou in advance.

A LAPTOP and you removed the Video Card? How can it show a screen without the video card????

Go to Control Panel
Click on "Hardware and Sound"
Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on "NVIDIA Control Panel"
This will open a new window where you can set the color on your screen back to normal.
