Minimum Specs

I need to put 3 comps into my good lady's shop. She already has one that has decent specs and I have just set up with Broadband. I have a 4 port wireless router with it but there are 3 other departments that need to go online from time to time. Each department has their own functions: Books, Music, Stationery, accounts etc so I was wondering if I could just buy up some cheap comps- a 6GB comp is selling for £35.00 on average down here now - and use them as a base for each department.
In most cases they are W95 and I know that XP Pro takes up about 3 GB But I would just need them to go online and check for availability of items so my questions are these: Is it worth buying these comps or invest in newer models with all the mod cons and could I still use the wireless router with the older models.
It is a struggling business so I need to find the most practical and economic options.

Thanks in advance for any advice

If this is for just going on the internet why not use cell phones?
Make the employees pay for this by taking a few pounds out of their paycheck
and tell them it's going into an employee association fund for holiday parties and such things.

Windows 95 is not going to handle wireless.
You need something with windows 98 second edition
and I would recommend at least a 450Mhz processor
and a motherboard with PCI 2.0.
