Sharing Cable internet access
Hi!
I can't solve the following situation: I have two computers at home, connected into a LAN (simple ethernet card in each computer - the two computers are connected using a coax cable). Now, one computer is connected to a cable modem via USB. The computer that is connected to a modem has got the access to the internet, but the other one cannot access the internet. The network (between the two computers) works without any problems. I would like to know how I can enable the internet access to both computers? (The OS on both computers is Win 2000). Thank you in advance! JerryL |

You will need to run some "PROXY" software on the machine that has the internet connection. AnalogX Proxy is free, I'm not sure if it will work on Win2000...never tried it......if not there is other software out there that will.
