There is no evidence of any malware in that log niotic. Before I check any further, is IE slow as well?

Well I just tried using it for about 5 minutes and I did not experience any of the problems that I was on with Mozilla Firefox.

In that case, it may be your theme or an add-on causing the problem. Try starting Firefox in Safe Mode. To do this, go to Start > Run and copy and paste the below command in the box and click ok.

firefox -safe-mode

Does this make a difference?

Transferring to the Internet Forum.

There can several reasons , for the slow performance of your internet explorer , it can some settings , or virus .
so to reset all the settings of internet explorer . open the internet explorer , go to the Tools > internet options > Advance and finally click on the reset .

After that scan your computer , With the Antivirus software installed on your computer .

Yes running Mozilla in safe mode made it perfect. I experienced no difficulties at all, now what do I do to keep it this way?

Go to Tools > Add-ons and disable all extensions. Close Firefox and reopen it. Is it still ok? If so, you will need to enable each extension, one at a time and close and reopen Firefox after enabling the extension to find out which one is causing the problem.

If disabling Add-ons makes no difference, click on Themes and uninstall your current Theme. If still no joy, click on Plugins and follow the same procedure for Add-ons.

Let me know how you get on.

I'm pretty sure it was a toolbar I had. But I am still experiencing some slow loading but no freezing any more.

Are you saying that Firefox is slow even when all add-ons etc are disabled?

Yes the loading is a bit slower than the way it was before i got the problems, but it isn't like before where Firefox would freeze then load. It just takes a bit longer to load.
