Windows Firewall settings causing connection problems
Hi. I am running XP. I have a direct connection to the internet. No router. Windows Firewall is ON. When I turn it off I can connect to ftp sites, but not with it on. I have tried several different sites, ftp.mozilla.org, ftp.microsoft.com. None of them work with the firewall on. I also tried making an exception in Windows Firewall for port 21, but seeing as that only effects incoming requests, it didn't help.
