can't connect to ONE site !?!

"Page cannot be displayed" when I try to connect to www.compact-impact.com from my home pc. I can connect to all other websites no problem.

I've tried using IE and Firefox but to no avail.

It works from other computers no problem, so I know the address is correct.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello try empying your temp files. If you are using IE. tools/internet options
delete cookies and files and all offline content restart
Then check your security settings are at default levels

I just tried the link but the same result. It's really odd. The fact that it crashes with both IE and Firefox tells me that there must be something about my pc settings conflicting with something on that site. But I can't see what. I haven't had any trouble with others sites, that 's why I find it so puzzling!

Nice one, Degs. It worked! I got to the site.
So why doesn't it work with my regular proxy, and how can I make it work?
Thanks everyone for your help with this. Much appreciated.

It usually means a DNS problem with your PC or ISP.

Who is your ISP?
Do you have a Proxy/Cache server setting in your browser?

In XP you can try repairing your DNS cache by repairing the connection.
Goto Network Connections, right click your connection and choose Repair.
