I just want to install service pack 3
After I download the update from microsoft website, it starts the auto install process. For some reason it starts looking on my floppy drive for a "data.msi" file. I think it's associated with my MS Word somehow, but I don't know.

Anyone have any ideas??

Are you using auto update? or the windows update web site? Try manualy downloading the file and installing it. http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...3/sp3lang.mspx

I did use the download from the wesite. Once it starts to install itself is when it stops because it can not find the "data.msi" file.

Have you got the data.msi file? Try and find it on google and put it on a floppy disk. Give it what it wants see if that helps? If it dosnt or you cant find it just post back.
