Right Click on Taskbar, No Result

Hello I don't want to see the Search Bar on the TaskBar. The few guides I've looked at have me start by right clicking the TaskBar to open a menu but when I try that nothing happens.

The computer is a Dell Inspiron 3793.
I've Updated Windows.

Thanks

Can you tell us how you solved the problem? That way folk's might be able to use it for themselves.

In Settings, Devices, Touchpad, I had "Press the lower right corner of the touchpad to right-click" unchecked.

I don't like the Taps feature on touchpads because I sometimes tap things by accident. I just unchecked everything under the Taps heading without looking carefully enough at everything and I didn't expect that the right click button would be under Taps. I guess it's that way because this new computer's touchpad also covers the click buttons.
