Right. It isn't finding your vid card.

Download and run Belarc from www.belarc.com

Post what it says you have for a video card and motherboard.

I am grateful, as always Murray. Just ran the program here are the results...

Display

Again, there is no video card noted!!!

Thanks for all your help and support Murray, I had to go back to XP as it seems my system can't be upgraded. Visiting the local IT store, they had a look at my pc and suggested I get 2 gigs of RAM, which sped up my machine greatly, so even though I am back to XP at least I have a speedier pc now... but I miss Windows 7 <sigh>. Cheers!
