Excel Chart Help

Alright this may be confusing at first but please read. I am creating a line plot of the measurements of leaves. I would like the frequency to be on the y axis, and the leaf length to be on the x axis. I truly do not feel like going through hundreds of measurements and find out how frequently they occur, so can someone tell me how to make this chart the way i want it. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Ex: i have measurements from 3 cm - 6 cm. I would like for the x axis to have numbers 1-10 and the y axis to have the frequency

Say you have the leaf lengths in A1 to A100. In column B, put the intervals you want on the graph - 1 to 10, let's say these will be in B1:B10. Now, highlight the cells in column C adjacent to the intervals (C1:C10). In the formula bar, enter:
Code:
=FREQUENCY(A1:A100,B1:B10)
When typed, don't press Enter, press Ctrl+Shift+Enter. You'll now get the frequency of the various intervals from the B column, placed in the adjacent C column. You can now make a scatter plot based on columns B (x axis, Length) and C (y axis, Frequency). Your measurements won't have to be integers, the Frequency function will automatically take all values in between the intervals. You'll need to adjust the x axis to go from 1 to 10 with a major unit of 1 and no minor unit.
