Howdy tinaquayle,
If you were an only child then who would you have to blame? Let's see what all is loaded there and move on after that with repairs. Please download HijackThis from Here. Then click on the downloaded file to install HijackThis. After it is installed open HijackThis and select Do a system scan and save logfile. Use copy/paste and post that log back here for review. Also go Here and download Silent Runners to your desktop. Run it, and post back here the log it creates. If your AV queries the script, allow it to run. It's not malicious. It will create a file named Startup Programs, and will notify when the scan is complete. Copy the log from the Startup Programs file back here. Also Open Hijackthis. Click Config - Misc Tools - Open Uninstall Manager. A list of the entries in Add/Remove programs will appear. Click on Save List... The list will be saved as 'Uninstall_list.txt' Copy & Paste the contents back here for review. You can use separate posts here if needed. |

You have downloaded the Trend beta version of HijackThis v2, which still has bugs to work out and is not what we will be using here. Please uninstall that, and download HijackThis from the link I provided and run a new scan with that if you would. Also you'll still need to post the Uninstall List from HijackThis for review.

Right click on the "Download Self extracting Hijack This installer Now!" link there and select Save Target As (Firefox Save Link As) and save it that way.

No obvious Lop sources jump out of that list. Although RollerCoaster Tycoon may not be suspect (as far as I know), that RCT3 Soaked copy would be if it was downloaded from a questionable source.
Open Hijackthis again. And again click Config - Misc Tools - Open Uninstall Manager again. That list of the entries in Add/Remove programs will appear. Click to hilight AV, then to the right check the Uninstall command entry, and copy/paste that file path information back here please. Then do this to remove Lop for now. Download and click to run the below uninstallers (If your protective software alerts about the download, allow it. It's not malicious). http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe http://lop.com/toolbar_uninstall.exe Reboot afterwards. Post a new HijackThis log, along with the information on that AV item please. |

I am guessing "it" refers to your Norton, or other protective software. You will need to disable this in order to run the uninstaller.
