Registry Cleaners

Is anyone familiar with registry mechanic? I did a scan and it says I have LOTS of problems in my registry..just wonderin if these things they are showing are legit problems...? And maybe this is why im getting such horrible ping during online gaming?

Howdy BrettB123,
Probably legit but also probably nothing serious and there are free programs that'll do as much or more. eg. RegCleaner

Registry Cleaners

My experience is that they find lots wrong Every time you run them, but whether or not the repairs they make to the registry make any difference I do not know.

what kind of internet do you have, and what online games do you play? that would probably solve that problem...ping doesnt have anything to do with your registry (i think )

They probally are legit, although it probally not anyhthing too serious. Usually what it showing is undeleted registry entries, like when you delete a program thru the control panel add/remove but it didn't take the registry entires out. I do not know how a registry problem could affect your ping but anything is possible I suppose, more likely culprits would be slow internet, slow connection, bad hops from you to server, bad settings in game. Go to Start>run>type cmd>type tracert ip (put the ip of the server you connect to for gaming) and hit enter. Any hops over about 150 ms is your problem, if none are than its something ingame. If some are there is nothign you cna really do but find a better server.
