I haven't used it myself but you could have a read of these reviews by people who have - seems quite popular.

Reviews here.

According to RogueRemover from malwarebytes.org, it is considered a "rogue" application.

Reasons include:

It misrepresents shareware as freeware (meaning that it has a "nag" screen every time you use it)

Users have reported spam after registering the product.

I just got a copy of this a few weeks ago and its quite good!

I also have REGSEEKER 1.45 and the first time I ran that,it removed over 850 Keys!

I gave it a home straight away.....

Last week I found a ZIP version of 2.8.1 Build 20120305

Im glad I found a ZIP copy cause I do not like installers!!

First time I used this it found 8 things that regseeker doesnt which is strange (Invalid file/folder mostly) so now I think I have the 2 best reg cleaners ever made!!

This is a totally free one,ya just click SKIP when the box comes on.....

I wonder why they did that if they indeed intended it to be free??

I have a question: What does the BUILD # mean?? (Build 20120305) does it mean this one was released on 5 March 2012?

A couple of formats in the early years has made me very gun of these "cleaners" If you understand the registry I think the MS regedit.exe ( after backing up) is the option I choose.

Provided it doesn't bork it, and some do, then you're in more strife than Flash Gordon.

Ya thats why only experienced users should run one....

Like on the startup tab, some people might not realise if they delete the entries from that section,THEY ARE REMOVING THIER ACTUAL STARTUP PROGRAMS!!

The Windows registry is full of supernumerary entries so it can connect to Apple and Linux and load drivers for devices that never get used. All these Registry Cleaner bozos know that, so list them with red X's like they're terrible entries. The Windows registry gets no benefit from these cleanings. And sometimes they do damage.

Ya Jitnan Regseekes sometimes comes up with RED ENTRIES also and those you might not wanna delete.... Especially on my computer!!

Its constantly coming up with false positives (RED ENTRIES) it seems like after I use my computer along time, using alot of memory,etc...... and then run regseeker it lists many RED ENTRIES that usually it doesnt,, Now I know not to remove those entries but someone who isnt experiened might!!

So you are right Jintan!
