NEW AVG Free 8.0 (Moved from Cyber Safety Forum)

I have been a member for a while but I am definately an amatuer.
My AVG free 7.5 expired so I tried and tried to get AVG free 8.0 to
work but never could get it to work so I just installed Avast free anti virus
Now it says the trial will run out in 16 days, wasnt supposed to be a trial..
I want AVG FREE back
I ran it with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever for 5+ years.
had the best of luck with it.
If I post a Hijack this log (might need to update my HJT) could someone help me reinstall AVG FREE 8 if possible (7.5 if I have to) ?????????? Thanks

looks like you did not download the free program but the trial version of the retail version.
