MACHINE_CHECK_EXECPTION on boot
My computer is 3 months old and the company I got it from (Carrera SSC) has recently been taken over. My warranty is now void! They give me the wrong recovery disk (Win XP Home) the certificate of authenticity is for media center 2005. So i made my own recovery disk by copying the I386 folder which contains the windows setup files, to a disk and this does work when it is run of the hard drive however, since I have installed Windows XP (Media Center 2005) from these files, I occasionally get a BSOD saying MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION.
***STOP: 0x0000009C (0x00000004 0x80545FF0 0xB2000000 0X00070F0F). The computer will reboot 3 times, each time showing this BSOD, before loading up windows. When windows has loaded up the computer runs perfectly! can anyone please help me with my problem? this BSOD was not happening before I reinstalled Windows. My Rig:- AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Leadtek Winfast Nforce4 PCI Express mobo 2x 512mb Hynix ram 160gb Hitachi Deskstar HD 350W Hiper PSU Leadtek FX6600 256mb graphics card |
