Question second monitor viewing

Hi,
Ive just bought an s-video and stereo phono to scart lead to extend my desktop onto my 15" tv monitor. I have set it up correctly, in that I can get an image but the image is always in black and white. How do I get a colour image on my tv? Ive tried changing resolution and also the colour quality. Any help would be much appreciated.

Marto

Strange.

Double check that your cables are plugged in securely.

What video card(s) are you using? Also, are both monitors running off of the same card?

Ive double checked the leads, they seem to be fine. I originally had a s-video to s-video lead and bought an adaptor today to take s-video to convert to scart. I regularly use the s-video to s-video lead to plug into my other tv and works fine.

The two monitors are running off a mobility radeon 9600.

From what you tell me, it sounds like the problem is in the adapter you bought, but I really have no experience with "scart" so I really can't offer you any help with that. It sounds to me, though, that the only things you changed were going from the TV to the monitor, and then added the adapter. One of which almost defintely has to be the problem.

That's my two cents. Good luck!
