Hey Steve,
I think from memory ('scuse the pun) Win2k's minimum spec is 64MB, but to be honest 64MB running Win2000 would be sooooo patheticly slow it isn't worth it. 128MB+ I would consider the minimum although some have found 96MB to be fine. On my 128MB AMD K6II 450 Win2000 runs like a dream whether I'm using Paint Shop Pro, Flash, Dreamweaver, or Unreal. I personally think they all run better than they ever did on Win98SE. But yeah I reckon 128MB. 96MB at a push. 64MB practically suicide. I'm assuming this would be Windows 2000 Professional Edition ???? Win2kServer has a min spec (I think) of 128MB but ya best off with 256MB. MiShY ------------------ Cyber Tech Help You Break 'em - We Fix 'em |
