work around Printmanager not installed Win7 Home

Since the printManager (MMC) was not installed on Win 7 Home by plan. Has anyone figured out a workaround?
I need to back up some Network Printer Drivers and the Print manager that in the other edition of Win7 have the ability to backup all print drivers.

Anybody got an idea?

I have a Printer (bizhub di2010) that is not win7 compatible but I have installed something that is compatible and now I want to back up the drivers.

Mike in Wisconsin.

Hi Mike, give Double Driver a try. It's freeware and although I havent used it, I have heard good things about it.

Thanks for your post.
I have used DoubleDriver for Years and That program has saved me a couple of times.
I tried Double Driver on the Win7 computer and it did not backup the "network" drivers.
I then searched for PrintManager for Win7 then found out it not installed on Win7 Home Premium.
This is the name of the Win XP version that back up all print driver into a (cab file)

Microsoft Printer Migrator 3.1

It looks like it copies the entire spool folder contents.
Its a good way to back up all your current printer drivers.

Mike P.

My next question is where are the print drivers stored on a Win 7 computer? I will ask on a different thread.

Thanks

No need to start another thread. All drivers are stored in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
