Need To Access Folder On Desktop

I am in the process of setting up a new system.

Just prior to starting my original W10/Ubuntu disk had the MBR corrupted and I wasn't able to fix it. All it came up with at boot was GRUB.

On the drive was x-plane which is installed in the desktop. I can access all the other folders/files on the drive when used as a slave other than x-plane.

Searched about a lot but not come up with anything that seems to work.

The x-plane folder is obviously on the drive but hidden from my view.

Would eternally grateful if someone could tell how to access the folder as it has all my latest x-plane setup.

Thanks in anticipation.

The command:
Sudo update grub
Should allow you to access Win 10 again I am assuming that Xplane is on the Windows partition.
