Audio Driver

My Audio Driver wont work....why? I wish I knew.... Anyways I have a Biostar like this on this page I download the Vista Version and Installed the .exe after the Reboot it still says No Audio Output Device is Installed so maybe theres other options in terms of forcing the drivers or maybe I am doing something wrong. Help would be much appreciated .

If you're sure you have the right driver. Go into device manager & try a manual install of the driver if you have anything listed under sound & audio. If not was it a zip file or an exe file you downloaded.

ALC655_A355_WIN98SEME2KXP.EXE

For board:
P4M80-M7

Thats the driver for XP, you indicate your running XP 64 bit, I do not see a 64bit driver for that board. A quick search did not find one. Thats your problem your audio will not except the VISTA driver.

32bit driver will not work with a 64bit system. Are you running XP 64bit?
