Audio Troubles

I have an HP G50 laptop and the speakers have stopped working. All the volume controls are where they are usually set to. However when I plug headphones into the jack next to actual headphone jack the speakers work again. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue would be appreciated

Hi bman43 welcome to Cber Tech Help.

Use System Restore to go back to a date when the speakers were working.
