Downloading
I accidentally checked the "always perform this operation thing" on the download box and pressed open. So everytime I click to download, it opens the program or file. How do i get it back to where I can choose open or save? Please Help! Thank You! I'm running XP and IE 5 or 6 (not sure about browser).

Welcome
This differers by version, but goto Internet Options>Advanced and the option should be there. In IE6 it is Notify When Downloads are complete. |

I checked the box "notify when download is complete" but it did not work. Before I had the option to choose open or save before the download started. I am dowloading guitar pro files from mysongbook.com. When downloading from the site it usually gives the option prior to starting the download, but since I clicked "open" and "always perform..." I can't save the files.
