JPEG Question re: hover resize feature

Some digital images I come across have a feature that appears (along with the Save Print Send and Open) when you hover the cursor over the picture that allows you to enlarge the image (It appears as a square with arrows pointing away from center then once the image is enlarged the arrows in the square point inward). Could this be a way to send images through email that can be enlarged by the recipient?

Can anyone tell me how that is done or which program offers that feature?

Thanks,
Ric

I am not sure what you are asking, but the square with the arrows is part of the MSIE6 browser. If you send a picture via email that person will need their own software to change the size of the picture. A good free one is Irfanview and you can get it here. A better one that is not free is Printshop Elements which runs around 60 bucks
