System Restore wont automatically save restore points & deletes manually saved points

System Restore has stopped automatically saving restore points & deletes manually saved points from time to time.

This seems to have started happening since I have been using:
Ashampoo, Bitdefender, MRU Blaster and Zone Alarm Pro.

I needed to switch system restore OFF to reinstall my Motorolla SB4200, to prevent my system constantly crashing which hasn't made any difference, and Microsoft Updates are recommending I install the driver: "Motorola network software update released on November 05 2001", which just meant that I was unable to connect to the internet at all!

AND I am sure that I switched System Restore back on!!

Have you just simply ran out of the assigned space for system restore?

Press the Windows key and Pause/Break key together select the Sytstem Restore tab and move the slider to the left.............and untick Turn of System Restore.
