Angry Spell check

I am running Win 7 Ultimate, with the latest version of Open Office. I have tried everything to get spell check to work in Open Office. I've been to their web site, followed all the instructions and still get no spell check. any one else ever run into this, or am i missing some thing here? Thanks, Bill

Never mind, in doing some research, I find that the problem that I was having with OO was not the only problem that folks were having with it. Some one suggested LibreOffice. I installed it and it works just great right from the down load. Thanks, Bill
