Google Maps

Discovered a flaw in Google maps today. When finding the route between two locations the direction indications gave instructions to enter a cross city road tunnel, and half way through when the tunnel is over 100ft below ground, had the vehicle mysteriously materialising on a road that crosses the tunnel, but on the surface.

At least I got a good laugh out of it, I wonder about those who don't know the area and wonder why their car can't bore upwards?

I remember Top Gear (UK) had a couple of good reports from online map directions on the show.

You should send it in to Top Gear. It may get a mention.

Speaking of Top gear, there's just been released a version over here in the US. It has the same title, but I haven't had chance to see it yet, to know how good it is or isn't.

I happened upon the first episode. Given such a small sample, I have to say I like the UK version better. But, it is kind of nice to have US celebs as drivers. They had Buzz Aldridge as their first guest.

I hope it turns out pretty good 'cause right now I'm not getting BBC America, so can't see the new UK Top Gear shows.

Well Neddie, I think that's cool that you've made that correction come about!
