Did you check all the headings? If you have on-board video, then there sould be an option somewhere in BIOS to disable it.
Just to clarify, after it gets to "step 2" what happens exactly? Try disabling or removing everything except your hdd, cd drive, ram and video and try the setup. Murray |

In the Repair Section, we get a Blue Screen which says "Please wait while Windows checks your disks"
Yellow Bar goes across The "Setup has performed maintenance on your hard disk. You must restart your computer to continue with setup" This is after I have removed the PCI modem and card reader...... |

Normal reboot - no special screen comes up - Do you want to boot from cd etc
I recently read that this process may need to continue for a few repetions, so am chasing that at the moment |
