Question Active X not allowed

I am trying to auto update my Creative software.
It say it needs to install an active x and to click on the information bar to allow it, which I do and select install active x.
But all it does is go back to the previous screen and go through it all again.
I can't find anything in Internet Explorer 7.0 or in Norton Internet Security (which I have) to let it install.
Can anyone help.
Also do you know how I can get my Favorites to set itself in alphabetical order, If I add a new Favorite it goes at the bottom of the list and stayes there.
Merv.

To sort Favorites, right click on any entry in the Favorites list and in the menu that appears, left click "Sort by Name."

For activeX go to IE tools/manage add ons... make sure add ons are enabled & make sure the one you are trying to download is not in the disabled list..
