Post Office 2007

When am typing something and then press ENTER to go to the next line it leaves a like bigger gap between the sentences. but when i use SHIFT + ENTER its a normal space between the lines. I know if website design programs theirs a setting so that when u press enter its like pressing shift + enter.
Is their an option in office word 2007? if so where?
Thanks

Look in Format>Paragraph to see if there's a place there to change the line spacing to Single (or whatever spacing you prefer).
