How to find a new sound card for my computer
Hi,
I have a Systemax Venture computer, 2004 vintage. Pentium 4, 2.40GHz, 40GB & 80GB hard drives, 512MB ram, I make DVD movies from my old home movies on VHS tapes. I use Pinnacle Studio Plus to do this. How would I go about finding out what kind of sound card I should upgrade to? Thanks Bergie |

Sound cards are in PCI versions, so which ever you get will fit your computer as long as you have an extra PCI slot that is not the first one because that is dedicated for pci video cards. Now, it depends on what your preferences are. Creative makes some really good ones, but so does Turtle Beach.

Thank you both, Photo Lady and K-slice for your input. I will check out both companies.
