Can I install Damn Small Linux inside XP

Ubuntu is easy to install in XP but its too big.
Had problems with my XP-Ubuntu dual boot a few days ago
ended up reloading XP and it didnt load the network drivers so I installed Ubuntu inside XP and went and downloaded the nerkwork and audio on ubuntu and cut and pasted them into my USB pendrive and rebooted into windows

Anyway any clues would be apreciated

thanks for your input masternige.
I might just put DSL on my pendrive so its a rescue package for any machine of mine that may have problems.

well its not fire hydrant version because I wanted to use it on an older PC that I have P3 500mhz that I hoped would do You Tube.
On my Dell 2.4ghz Puppy 4.1.1 wont boot from the CDrom or be seen on the CDrom while booted into XP, but Im picking it will boot from a USB drive
It boots from th CD on my Asus 2.6ghz that runs Ubuntu 8.04.
And unlike DSL Puppy looks easy to install to hard drive

Hmmn? I thought xp showed a "To boot from cd press any key" option before the windows splash came into view. Was that not the case with you??

I think you are right it says press F12 for boot options but its set to boot from the CD first.

But DSL boots without having to go into the boot menu

Puppy is good as works on the old compaq and nobody would know you had a dual boot and you put the CD in and its away

But I wasnt happy with the compaq 500mhz just dont do it on You Tube so Ive pulled out the motherboard and Im in the process of sticking a Gigabyte motherboard with a socket 370 1000mhz cpu Ive got a 1100mhz cpu but Im not sure it works.

its all good Jaytee
