IE history deletion
This may be a fairly open ended question, but here goes:
I am running Internet Explorer under XP-Home. Occasionally, my history files are deleted for no apparent reason--at least I can't associate the deletion with anything that I have done. This doesn't seem to happen to any of the other users under their separate user accounts. So, with that sparse information, any idea what might be happening? Or, alternatively, how may deleted history files be restored? Thank you. |

First check in Internet Explorer options.
See what the Clear History (in days) setting is. Do you have any tweaking/security software that would clear your history? |

I have it set to 50 days. All of the history is deleted, not just the 51+ day old sites.

again, are you running any type of tweaking software, registry cleaner, popupstopper - if so what are they? Also do you have a spouse or kids or relative or neighbor that might be using your computer and deleting their tracks.
