Registry Cleaners
Hi, I downloaded a registry cleaner and it's telling me there are 1200 odd bugs on my computer. It takes off 5 then tells me I have to register for it to clean up completely, do I register? or is it just to get me to buy it. The problems are,

Second, please explain your problems & error notices (be as specific as possible); might want to give some details on your system & OS (assume XP from the forum chosen to post?) - good luck! |

most of those odd bugs are temporary files and temporary internet files on your computer. In addition some registry cleaners will make stuff up to get you to purchase it. One other thing, registry cleaners can do damage to your system if you use the wrong one or make changes if you have nasties.
My suggestion would be to click on start, click on all programs, click on accessories, click on system tools then finally click on disk cleanup. Let it delete all your temporary files and it will cut the number down from 1200. Post the error notices you are getting. |
