Computer doesn't turn on

I was on the computer last night and it suddenly turned off and I tried turning it back on and it ran for 3 seconds and turned back off automaticaly. And I tried again this morning, and it doesn't even make a noise, what can I do?

first open up the case and make sure it is dust free and everything connected properly. possibly the power supply is bad.

I opened up the case and dusted everything and checked all the connections and everything seems fine, if the power supply is bad, is there anything I can do besides replacing it?

if its bad, it needs to be replaced.

You could try hitting it with a led pipe?

If you buy a new power supply.. make sure you don't make the same mistake I did, make sure you get the right type. I tried to put one from a tower into a desktop case. No go.
