Transfer iPhone photos to Windows 10 Maintaining Creation Date

I can connect my iPhone to my Windows 10 PC, and then see my photos and videos on the phone using Explorer. I can then copy & paste or simply click and drag the photos into a folder on my PC. However, the creation, modified and last access dates all are set to the current time.

Is there a way to maintain the original creation date? To me, I'm not "creating" the photo by moving it. It was "created" the day and time the photo was taken. I'm finding this very frustrating. Am I the only one? Thanks in advance for any comments.

I've not found a way to maintain the date and time attribute when copying files from a phone to a computer, however it is possible to make changes to the date and time of the copied files using BulkFileChanger.

A bit laborious, but a way around your problem until a better answer comes along.
